Below, we provide a breakdown of our process, from our initial meeting to the final walkthrough of your new space. At Brinq, we understand that each customer's project and requirements may vary. While our standard process serves as a baseline for delivering exceptional experiences, we remain flexible to accommodate the unique needs of each project. Factors such as the size of your scope and desired timeline may influence our approach.

Our Process
Step 1.

This initial step involves a phone or virtual call where we introduce ourselves and take the opportunity to learn more about you. We want to understand the specifics of your project, including what you're looking to achieve, why it's important to you, and the vision you have in mind.
During this consultation, our team will discuss how we can best assist you in bringing your vision to life. We'll explore your goals, preferences, and any specific challenges or considerations you may have. Our aim is to gather as much information as possible to ensure that we fully understand your needs and expectations.
Following the initial phone or virtual consultation, we'll schedule an in-person estimate consultation at your convenience. This allows us to meet face-to-face, further discuss your project, and delve into more detail about the scope of work. During the site visit, we'll take the opportunity to get to know each other better and provide additional information about our company and team.
Our team will thoroughly assess your project requirements, taking notes, capturing photographs, and measurements as needed. For larger projects, we may even create a rough blueprint to ensure accuracy and precision in our planning. This detailed approach enables us to gain a comprehensive understanding of your project and lay the groundwork for a successful partnership.
Step 2.

After our estimate consult we will take the information gathered to create a comprehensive budget estimate tailored to your project scope. Drawing upon our professional expertise and experience, as well as consulting with trade-specific professionals when necessary, we ensure accuracy and reliability in our budget projections.
Our team meticulously analyzes the project details and requirements to provide an estimate that aligns with your vision and expectations. We take into account factors such as materials, labor, permits, and any additional services required to complete the project successfully.
If finished materials will be supplied by us, we conduct thorough research to identify and include all necessary materials in the budget estimate. Each material is accompanied by a budgeted cost, providing transparency and clarity regarding the overall project investment.
Once completed, the budget estimate will be delivered via email. In some cases our budget estimates can span from 15% to 30% of your final investment. This range accounts for variables like material selection and site-specific factors.
Our commitment to transparency and accuracy extends throughout the budget estimate process. We strive to provide you with a clear understanding of the anticipated cost associated with your project, empowering you to make informed decisions every step of the way.
PERMITS / DRAWINGS REQUIRED:
(PRE-DESIGN)If drawings and/or permit applications are necessary, we will provide an estimate for creating the required drawings. Additionally, upon request, we can facilitate the application process with the city. If drawings are required, they’re often essential for accurately pricing your project, making budgeting challenging without them. Once the pre-design estimate is approved, we proceed to step 3 of our process.
Step 3.

During the design phase, our team collaborates closely with our valued tradesmen, providing them with comprehensive breakdowns of the scope of work tailored to their specific expertise. Detailed photos, layouts, and drawings are shared as needed, and if required, we will facilitate on-site visits to ensure a thorough understanding of the project requirements. These discussions and site visits serve a dual purpose: they enable us to provide you, the customer, with the most accurate pricing possible, minimizing the likelihood of mid-project surprises and disruptions, while also offering you the opportunity to ask any detailed questions you may have.
If Brinq Construction is supplying materials for your project, we go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. We work together with you to determine the exact materials you desire, whether through in-person consultations, virtual meetings, or visits to material-specific stores. And the best part? This additional service comes at no extra cost to you.
Moreover, if you require the expertise of designers during the design phase, we seamlessly integrate them into the process to ensure your vision is brought to life. Our goal during this phase is simple: to provide you with a final estimate that is as accurate as possible. By ironing out all the details upfront, we lay the groundwork for a smooth and timely construction process.
Depending on the project, to initiate the design phase we may require a modest deposit ranging from 3% to 5% of the budget estimate. This deposit serves as a commitment fee, demonstrating your dedication to partnering with us. Upon completion of the design phase, if you choose to proceed with Brinq Construction and accept the final estimate, the deposit will be applied in full toward the total project cost.
At Brinq, we stand by the accuracy of our estimates. If the final estimate exceeds 30% of the initial budget estimate without any changes to the scope of work and you decide not to do business with us, we refund the design deposit in its entirety. Please note that any portion of the deposit utilized for design, architecture, cabinet design, materials, or other services will not be refunded.
Once the design phase is completed and you’ve decided to begin construction with Brinq. we will move on to step 4.
Step 4.

During the construction phase at Brinq, our focus shifts to turning the carefully laid plans into reality. We prioritize effective communication with our selected trades to craft a comprehensive schedule tailored to fit the customer's preferences and availability. Ensuring a smooth flow from start to finish, leaving no gaps. If Brinq is providing materials, we begin creating a material schedule to ensure everything required is on-site, precisely when needed. Before finalizing any bookings, we confirm the project schedule with the customer to guarantee alignment with their expectations.
As the start date approaches, we take care of the applicable essential preparations such as scheduling bin deliveries, arranging furniture moving and protection, and implementing floor protection.
From the first day of construction right until the last, Brinq is present every step of the way, offering continuous support, answering questions, and conducting scheduled site progress walkthroughs. We remain fully engaged throughout the journey, ensuring a seamless process.
As we reach the final stages of the project, we conduct a comprehensive walkthrough of your newly transformed space, enjoying the first glimpse of its completion together. To celebrate the incredible journey we've shared, we raise a toast to the successful collaboration and the bond we've forged along the way. Step 5.

As the construction dust settles and the final touches are applied, it's time for you, our valued customer, to take possession of your newly renovated home. This pivotal moment marks the culmination of our collaborative efforts, bringing your vision to life. You now have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the comfort and beauty of your transformed space. Our commitment to quality extends beyond completion, as we stand by our workmanship with a comprehensive warranty. Your satisfaction and peace of mind are paramount as you embark on this journey of enjoying your perfect home.
